10 Tips to reduce Bad Breath

A little care goes a long way.

Here are 10 tips to reduce bad breath. In most cases (about 90%), bad breath comes from the mouth itself. Most people can easily notice someone else's bad breath but not their own. A bad taste in your mouth is not necessarily a sign, but a dry mouth may. The easiest way to be sure is to ask a friend or relative, if they have noticed anything.

You will find that you often have bad breath when your mouth is dry so an easy solution is to chew some sugar free gum to get your saliva activated and self cleanse your mouth. You can find natural ways as well

The most frequent cause of bad breath is at the rear of your tongue. All sorts of food debris, dead cells and post nasal drip can accumulate. The next area is between your teeth where all sorts of rubbish accumulates and can cause odor and decay. The remedy is quite simple daily flossing and brush your tongue as a well as your teeth. If you are not sure if this is the case just take a quick sniff of the floss after use and notice the smell which is probably in your mouth as bad taste by then anyway. A good alcohol free mouth wash after brushing your teeth helps to protect them.

Some say that mouth washes work for only a few minutes is actually incorrect. The best time to gargle with a good mouth wash is after you have cleaned and flossed your teeth at bedtime.

In spite of general opinion, bad breath actually very rarely comes from the stomach and eating a good healthy breakfast cleanses your mouth and back of the tongue and gets your saliva flowing properly after a night's sleep and a breakfast is always the most efficient meal of the day to stay healthy and slim.
